The 11th Annual Congress of the Belgian Association of Urology “From guidelines to practice and back: a patient oriented approach”, held in the International Convention Center (ICC) Ghent, was again a great succes!
With more than 300 urologists who attended the congress, the congress has become a yearly meeting of high scientific level where top-experts gather to exchange their knowledge, give tips and tricks, discuss guidelines and practice and latest developments in the field.
On Friday morning, the working groups took place, giving the occasion to attend a specific session on one urology topic, moderated by an expert in the field.
On Friday afternoon and Saturdag morning, the sessions “From practice to guidelines” and “From guidelines to practice” took place, followed by the ESRU session (focussing on residents in urology) and the FANC session (focussing on radiation protection), in the afternoon.
On Friday evening, the gala dinner took place at the “Oude Vismijn”, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy nice food and swinging music at a very beautiful location in the heart of Ghent.
